Silly Hat Lunch

Silly Hat Lunch
Originally uploaded by michaelwheatland.

Well, I hosted the inaugural annual silly hat lunch at uni.

It is mainly to try to keep in contact with those people who I will not

have contact with after I leave.

I think everyone had a good time.

The train system in Melbourne really needs an upgrade to the service and more frequent trains out of peak time. It would be good if someone could sort it out, rather than the government mucking around.

Sitting on the lawn at uni is one of the most relaxing things i can think of doing.

It gives you some perspective on how hard uni life really is.

This is my office in at uni. It is a shared office with other people that don't use it at all.

I suppose there does have to be some perks of the job as MUCESS chairman.

It is amazing how quick time flies.

It is very cool. It comes with Bluetooth, IR, Email, Broadband, a 1.3MP Camera, and heaps of other cool 3G Features not seen on any other provider but Three. I am very impressed with their service so far, with the exception that their call centre is in India, so it i a bit hard to understand some of the people there sometimes. All round, a very good phone and service!

This is my new phone.

This is the actual mine site from the sky. The tailings dam is massive!!! You can see that the Dam is about 4Km across, about twice the size of the actual mine!

This is where I will be doing work experience. I am over there between the end of November to late February.

Well Alistaire, it is not a surprise!

This is Dave and Tim doing what they do best in lectures.
